Vhils is the tag name of Portuguese graffiti/street artist Alexandre Farto, who lives and works in London and Lisbon.
He has developed a relief portrait style where he penetrates through countless layers of posters, dirt, and rendering to set expose the buildings layer to create wonderful, evocative images free the poetic images.
So far I have only seen 2 of his works, one in Fremantle in Western Australia and the other in Sydney, I will be looking out for more ion my future travels.
