The Yardworks Festival at SWG3 gave us plenty to watch at this year’s event.
As one of Europe’s biggest and best events dedicated to graffiti and urban arts, the festival is an unmissable display of colour and creativity. The organisers say it offers an “inspiring and fun-filled experience for people of all ages”.
Now in its fifth year, Yardworks Festival is a leading showcase of contemporary urban art, and this year featured the work of more than 100 artists during the three days of colour and creativity.
Rogue One, Tef, Vues, Panda, Rachel Miller, Chelsea Frew, James Klinge, Ross MacRae, Conzo & Glöbel, Box Vincent, and Taio plus Jay Kaes, EPOD, Morf and Aches were added to the extensive list of local and global artists appearing at this year’s event.
As usual, I enjoy visiting during the festival weekend and seeing the art being created and meeting up with the artists, many of whom, I know, but what I really like is returning a few days later to see the completed works. This year was no exception, I returned mid-week when there were no crowds and took some great shots.

I finally returned this week to see the Arches on the Clydeside Expressway side and was pleased to meet up with KMG, who I met in Aberdeen for Nuart and Jimmy Dvate, who I met earlier in the year in Horsham Victoria when I visited Australia.
