Londonderry-Derry – Ballymena – Larne
During a trip to Northern Ireland in March 2022, I discovered a rich and vibrant street art scene with many pieces from local and international artists. As I was staying in Portrush on to County Antrim Coast I started there. Unbeknown to me, in 2021 the local Causeway Coast and Glens council had instigated a scheme to increase the vibrancy of the area’s town centres. Due to the limitation of my time in the area, I could only visit some of them, namely, Portrush, Portstewart, Limavady and Coleraine.

Coincidently I arrived in Portstewart just as the first of some small pieces of local children, were being created around the town as part of the Portstewart Street Art Trail launching on 17th March, the pieces, which I saw, are being done by a local artist are quite good and worth a look. #streetartPortstewart

Londonderry-Derry
I found quite a few good murals in Londonderry-Derry, but due to the mainly divisive nature of them I have decided not to post them here, I did however like the one depicting the cast of the Derry Girls TV show and one by our own Mark Worst (I will admit that the photograph of his is not mine, I was unable to get a parking space nearby)
