Although I never got a chance to visit, Nuart was back on the streets of Aberdeen in 2021 with a series of projects they hoped would give everyone a lift following the restrictions of the Covid lockdowns – the theme of the festival being Re-Connecting. I didn’t manage to visit until 2023, but what I saw of the 5 murals created during the festival certainly brought a positive vibe to the city. Unfortunately, a mural by SNIK at the now-demolished Aberdeen Market was gone by the time I got there, I will include a stock image of it here together with the photographs I took during my visit.
