Phung Hung Mural Street

Phung Hung street in the Old Town in Hanoi has a beautiful set of murals recalling Hanoi in the past. Originally painted, along the the 200-metre wall, in 2018, it was one of the first places I visited whilst in Hanoi.

The paintings depict memories of Hanoi and old features that still linger in Hanoians’ minds: Hang Ma street during the Mid-Autumn festival, the Trang Tien Department Store, a street corner in the Old Quarter with street vendors and a calligraphy writer, all competing with the multitude of motorcycles parked in front of them
